Health Checkups
What Are Health Checkups?
- Health check-ups are a set of clinical laboratory tests that report on the state of an organ (eg: liver profile), a function, a condition that involves more than one organ (eg: thyroid profile), or a particular situation that involves several functions (ex: prenatal profile).
What are they for?
- The advantages of conducting a profile rather than isolated laboratory tests include:
- Get as much information as possible about the state of health or a certain pathology.
- The cost of a profile is cheaper than the exams separately.
- The profiles are indicated for annual check-ups, as preventive medicine and for specific check-ups when a disease state justifies them.
Why do laboratory tests?
- Laboratory tests are important because they serve as a diagnostic tool for different states of health or pathology that occur in people.
What tests should I have?
- There are several groups of analysis within which we recommend the following:
- Athletes Checkup
- food intolerance
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Basic check-up children and young people
- General health checks
